The Euronorm gearmotors program is competitively priced, of high quality, available from stock and due to its modulair design customer specific executions can be assembled from stock.
The gearmotor consists of a gear reducer and an integrated electric motor. The compact design makes these drives suitable for many applications. The constant high quality and competitive pricing of the Euronorm gearmotor makes it the appropriate drive to use in machines and manufacturing processes.
The 1:1 compatibility with SEW as a suitable replacement makes it easy to exchange and to do maintenance all over the world. This allows customers to benefit from the advantages offered by Euronorm, without ignoring the wishes to be able to replace it anywhere in the world if necessary after a (long) life.
Besides the gearmotors Euronorm also delivers frequency drives and encoders, this allows you to receive the entire drive solution from one company. Euronorm also has its own engineering department and extensive workshop facilities which develops and produces special drive components.
The gearmotors can also be equipped with various options such as brakes (AC brake, DC brake, double brake for theater applications, ATEX brakes and more), as well as other options such as increased IP ratings, anti-condensation, PTCs or Thermo contacts, special bearings, external cooling, marine / ship design, coatings, fully closed versions and more. One of the latest developments is the submersible drive unit.

Each main group also offers a variety of implementation options. For example, all types of geared motors are provided with an outgoing flange, instead of mounting feets. For JRTF, K and S are both possible with hollow and solid output shafts. In addition, the gearmotors can be equipped with an IEC flange, hollow shaft with shrink disk, spline shafts, and more.
When a geared motor with a very high transmission is required, the gearmotor is equipped with an additional motor gearbox . This makes ratio’s 0f over 1: 10.000 possible.
In addition to the options on the gear itself many options are also possible on the electric motor. They can be equiped with several brake types (AC braking, DC braking, dual DC braking for stagecraft) encoders in many shapes and sizes, external cooling, PTC or thermal contact, locking down / blocking device and more.
QUALITY GEARMOTORS
The quality is guaranteed by producing strickly and only under UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 standards. Delivered materials are also strictly controlled and selected on their proven quality. The use of A-brand parts such as NSK bearings and oil seals from Simrit, accurately machined parts and the use of precision hardened and ground gears (grade 6) ensure a long service life, minimal noise and high efficiency.
STOCK GEARMOTORS
Euronorm keeps a lot of geared motors and parts on stock. Also they have their own assembly workshop and paintshop. Therefore they can ensure a quick and reliable delivery of customized gearmotors painted in various colours and coating systems (OS1, 2, 3, 4,).
